Cool! I took a video years ago with my Father in Law. He pulled 4 pike over 36 inches through the ice. I was R rated because of language! Couldn't be helped.

I plan on making the trip. I'll see how long the kids can last. I'll pick up some basic gear and if someone can drill a hole for me, I'll be all set. I look forward to meeting folks I havent before.
any advice on "basic" gear is greatly appreciated!

totally cant wait till saturday fished a near by lake friday and had 8inces of ice. we will have an auger if anyone needs it, we perfer they chainsaw.

Maybe we should bring 2 way radios, those FRC ones I know some of us have em. That way we can communicate to differant areas for updates and everyone who has em can hear

I was out there yesterday, last week there was probably 10 in of ice now its 6 in of ice with 4 inches of water/slush on top dont forget your GOOD rubber boots that dont leak |
