I had a friend who was gay and sadly passed away in 1997. He was a great man. Not a flaming, in your face, let me show how gay I can be man, but a kind, honest hard working person who had the same partner for 40 years and didn't make a big deal out of it.

The god I listen to accepts people like this. doesn't hate them for a something that isn't a sin.

so when the jesus adoring, scripture slinging types start to accuse people such as these because they believe them sinners I hope you will review your own lifes and recognize the mistakes, shortcomings and sins that occur to all of us.

I have never read any COMMANDMENT that said you couldn't be gay.

I am not gay (cept' at christmas) and never will be. Just have personal respect for people and their lives. When it is an out right disrespectful, poorly chosen choice then the person or peoples should be prepared for judgement.

thus I understand the opinions of the hallowed

and by te way sandman,

this is a topic of importance in the state of Massachusetts right now.

the reason it was begun in the first place.

I respect your opinion but if you can't handle it, stay away.

maybe we should start a forum for the inflexible, hardened fisherman who only care to discuss what THEY believe in.

oh thats right. we already have it. See Grumpy old farts.........

FWW--we get about 2 million seed oysters ever spring; you'd think that some would be switch hitters.
Oysters spawn in one great union of sperm and eggs all joining together in the water colume. Oysters reproduce differently than we do..................and I'm happy for that.

I'm cooking some tautog up right now. Caught in December, some freezer burn but all-in-all the fillet looks good and is starting to smell nice in the oven. You know fish the minute you turn your back and go do something else, what do you have rubber tautog.

OK here we go. Me and my girlfriend have two pugs--which are hands down the "gay dog" to have. One pug was given to us by a gay women. The dog is a female. So we bought a male. The male mounts the female, like young male dogs are prone to do. But now the female is mounting the male. I think we may have a gay female pug

I like bigger dogs and was not happy to own a pug, but now two years later I am a pug lover. These dogs are great.

Pasting an earlier quote here...
"Goose I agree. It's OK for the liberals to censor what many of us believe in while we have to "be tolerant" of things we find totally offensive"

The KKK is legal, American Nazi party, legal, White Supremicisist groups, legal.
I find those to be offensive. If your offended by gay marriage, deal with it, its part of being American

All men are created equal, endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, among these are life. liberty and the pursuit of
happiness.

I'm all for it. Who are we as a society to control how people choose to run thier lives. I've got a few gay freinds, both male and female... If they felt like they wanted to comit themselves to a life of partnership whats the problem??

how is two people who love each other and express their love by having a ceremony going to effect your life??
gimme a break.

If everyone on this planet accepted everyone elses beliefs there would be no wars, no killing, etc.

And to continue my soapbox rant.... I'd like someone to name a war that wasn't about religion, or wasn't fought by 2 opposing religious countries.
