I hope Sunday will be better for you guys, because it was slow this AM. We got a few but nothing like past years. I was surprised I was expecting more of a bite for this time of year.
Water was murky, blowing 10-15 with a 4-5' swell and 63 deg. I was fishing the same area that we did last year. Inside more the swell laid down.
There was a Viking superstar head boat fishing there too and they moved to several spots before disappearing. A few others stopped by for a bit then moved on.
It should be much nicer tomorrow. 1-2' I think with 5-10. You might want to try some of the reefs in closer to the mainland.
I will give it a week or so and try it again
Good luck guys!!!

one of these times i'll make it as part of the fest. only had a 3 hour window before my youngest soccer game, so I skipped out with my oldest son. It was a bit sporty with the wind direction and dumping tide in buzzards. by the ride in at 10:30 it had laid down nicely though. once i figured that we needed 10 oz to hold bottom, fishing was lock and load. a pb for my boy, first drag puller for him.

Another great togfest! Started out a little snotty but by mid-day waters flat calm. Constant action on the tog, nothing huge (togzilla class) but we came in with out limit of fish all over ~22" long. Beamie broke his cherry toggin today! Fish On boated the heaviest fish of the group. Kippy had a somewhat off day after taking us to school last year...and me just kept pulling in the fish and doing mostly C&R.

Sea Dangles will now be known as The Togmeister. He absolutely crushed em today, and there were a lot of big ones. He put us on them early and it was non-stop action until the tide slacked. Not to mention, he makes his own killer secret tog rigs.

They do if you catch them on your own wood.

I'll post a few pics later tonight or tomorrow. Unfortunately, I didn't get too many pics. Fortunately, the fishing was so good that I didn't have time to take many pics.

I did very well on the jig with Asian shore crabs. We dent make it all the way out. We found a good bite with nice fat fish in close. The jig was getting mire action than the regular bait rigs.
