Look at this as an opportunity. You get to spend the next X years keeping a good eye on what your kid is into as you progress from marbles and rocks (lots of rocks) to lego mini-figs and parts of mini-figs, to whatever is next.
Just remember to run a load of your yardwork clothes or the wife's in between the kids load and the work / nice causal for the errant jolly rancher that makes it past inspection.
