Sad part is it wasn't even his rod...he pirated the thing and claimed it as his own... Kinda like eminent domain with fishing tackle...

If I were the owner of that rod I'd demand it be replaced today, plus five years interest...

I actually can't believe it lasted as long as it did, its a miracle...it was cetainly well built.

No doubt mono stretch is easier on the rod and the angler . as is fiberglass over graphite for that matter . How much power can you get out of a rod before it starts working on you ? The answer my friend is blowing in the wind ..
