Just a gripe I have with MA beaches in general. It's only a step away from what these whack jobs want to do, if you think about it. It's all about limiting access.

In this case the "FOR ALL" means Shorebirds, Wildlife, Reasearch Workers, Dogs and humans living (or playing) in coexistance. Plymouth beach could not handle the influx of vehicles should it be open to the public. Letting residents only drive the beach is no different than letting "fishermen only" drive the beach and that is what many of them are, especially at night.

The decision came down in favor of Plymouth Beach. PLYMOUTH WON AGAIN. It is not over but this is good news. I will post more when I see something in writing.

yup ..
PLYMOUTH — A long-awaited ruling by an administrative judge has upheld the management plan that allows off-road vehicles on Plymouth Long Beach.
Magistrate David Hoover’s recommended decision, released Tuesday, finds no merit in Goldenrod Foundation’s claims that the use of off-road vehicles on the beach constitutes a “take” of endangered species.
The ruling would maintain the town’s policy of allowing off-road vehicles onto the outer portion of the three-mile beach after protected piping plovers have fledged in early summer.
Goldenrod Foundation challenged the plan, claiming it did not adequately protect the plovers or roseate terns, another protected species.
Hoover heard testimony on Goldenrod’s challenge to the beach management plan last summer. His ruling found the challenge unsupported by meaningful or competent evidence.
The ruling also questions the motives of Goldenrod founder Kate Muther, who owns a private home on the beach and spends part of her summers there.

Thanks Tagger!
Kudos to the Town of Plymouth and the people of Plymouth Beach for All Coalition for sticking to their guns and getting the true facts out in the open. Enjoy your beach!
Now I want to know what will become of this-"The ruling also questions the motives of Goldenrod founder Kate Muther, who owns a private home on the beach and spends part of her summers there."
Is she going to be allowed to continue this foolish witch hunt she is on?
All of this is a waste of time and money.
