I emailed the company who make these slides and they told me that my boat was too heavy for them.

Also, be careful on the install. The directions say you can put them right over the bunk carpet...the problem is the carpet compresses and the screw become exposed and dig into the gel coat. I have heard from a few guys that have experienced this and I would install them on the wood directly if I was doing it.


I ended up getting a can of liquid roller.

I was thinking about soaking it with dish soap, but I'll try the liquid roller first.

(This may all be for naught because I may not be able to get the boat to the house...too may low trees, and tight turns. It may be easier to keep it in the boatyard. But I would really like it home next to my work shop.)
