Theres a very good book called The bowhunters Bible. It covers the bow and its setup, the archer and his form, the arrows and why you use what you do and so on...and so on. Soft cover, pretty big book and worth the $$. Also, in S E Ma there are a couple acrhery shops. Fall River has Trader Jans, see Jill. She is a Jr. Olympic archer and also the owner. She know what shes doing. In Middleboro theres Ready's. Also has a bunch of guys the are second to none, very knoledgeable. Both shops have a good selection of bow and acces. and both have an indoor range. Good Luck!!

Come down to Reedy's, Chris is one of the nicest guys around and his customer service is second to none. If more companies had customer service like his there would never be a need for people to shop elsewhere. We shoot on monday nights. If you go in and tell them you never shot a bow before and were interested, they will get a bow setup for you to shoot, teach you how to shoot it, and have you in the bullseye in about 20 minutes of shooting.

When I end up back in MA I'm really gonna miss my shop out here.
Smith Point in Patchogue is seriously one of the best shops ever.
