Dave, how many large bass have you sold in your day? I remember a night back in 78' when Old Harbor gave you a check for 1000 lbs + of large in one night. Which is still the greatest night of fishing I know of by anybody on this site or anywhere else for that matter. Up until last year you still had a commercial bass license did you not?

I think your going thru the change or something. You need some starlight on your face. Call me.

Why even try.........

Oh.... the what do priests and tuna have in common thing? Isn't it something to do with little cans or something to that effect?

Anyway, it's "jamokes" with an "e", I think "jamoks" was a race of space creatures from Star Wars.

Why even try.........

Only you can say it like I feel it is...and get away with it. I've watched Skip kill everything 28.1" and over all summer long from his perch. He always has an excuse. Point blank I asked him what the hell he was going to do with all the meat, while Numbskull was enabling the situation by carrying out the fish. I confess I carried out a few for him also, until I gradually learned he always has an excuse.

BTW: re the three car accident that Skip and Numby caused on Friday morning: the first car stopped and was trying to make a left turn. The second car was oogling the fish as Numby stepped out of the woods and was trying to look between the cars. The third car driver was either blind or was texting because he just absolutely demoished himself into the second car. Another reason not to kill a great fish at that age.

I don't think an excuse is necessary to kill fish over 28".They make great fertilizer as well as a tasty meal. This thread jumped the shark when the kill was posted.I hope the old codger kills whatever makes him happy.Sauerkraut,I expect to see your shadow this week.

Skip has helped me a lot and, more than the fishing, is a major reason I've enjoyed my infrequent forays to the canal. I'm sorry this thread ended up critical of him. I had meant the post to honor him and inspire others to fish. I'd carry his fish again.
