Just pretend it's another plug. Wire the back half first (with the nose loop horizontal) and wrap the tail of the front around the nose loop on the back. Use nose and tail grommets as normal.

Actually Reverse that....do the front portion 1st then slip the the nose loop of the back portion through the tail loop of the front portion and then tie the tail loop in the back portion.

Both ways mentioned (tail loop on front section, or Rockfish's way of threading the loop through the plug). What method works best will depend on the plug. For example, RM's jointed use the first method, Creek Chub the second. Both work real well. Some of my plugs work better with the tail loop, others with the tighter loop. I've also noticed that on the ones where I thread the wire/loop through the plug and expand the loop will also work differently depending on how long I make that loop. Some seem to swim better with a tighter join.
