I am a cynical bastard, but Im the only one that thinks thats 100% staged? look at the positioing of the cameras on the judges, backstage, crowd, etc. Im not doubting her ability, but believe it was a set up. Get someone fugly and old and have them blow the crowd away. I think its a stunt.

I wouldn't be suprised if you're right. That shows been on in GB longer than in the US. I'd bet it's starting to get stale and they needed some big publicity stunt to make it relevant again.
Still a good voice on the lady, though. I bet she starts getting guys wanting to knock her boots now that she's famous. |
