for me the highlight was taking my kids to a local dock so they could jig with sabiki rigs catching 6" baby bluefish, finger herring and mackerel...they would put them in a bucket...i would then live-line one when they were not looking and catch big bass and blues...and to see the look on their face..'how did you catch that dad?"...and having my 6 year old daugher reel in a 20lb bass...yelling the whole time that 'the rod is going to break'!
