We could really use some new structure on the beach but one storm would be enough.
I hate to say it but I am only able to fish weekends (some of us have to work) Why do the storms always hit on weekends?
I am afraid this will bring in weed bigtime and make fishing impossible.
I too believe that it will totally screw up the fall run.
They just may bypass the shoreline on their way home.

Just saw the latest on the Weather Channel, Karl - they're usually pretty good on track predictions - looks like we're gonna get a fair piece of Hannah, 40 to possibly 60 MPH winds, heavy swells and rips alnong the entire coast.

Called my bride at work, we're gonna go on DefCon 3 just as a precaution, make sure everything on decks, porches and in yard is secured.

I've got a feeling as soon as Hannah hits the Gulf Stream she's gonna haul ass - as long as she skirts the coast we're good, if she goes in somewhere up here and you're in the NE quandrant - well, not so good but nothing major. You may wanna check your elevation on that big sandbar out there, though

I gotta work Saturday til midnite, it's gonna be a ****house mess, going to show up with full FW gear in the Jeep including my sou'wester hat. No poop, I end up looking exactly like the guy in my avatar - boy, that's scary.

Gotta get back to work on the apt. for the new people moving in and then secure stuff - well, Mrs Crafty always says if you can't be handsome, at least be handy

Oh yeah as far as screwing up the fishing - you can't lose what you don't have.

It's been slow but cool nights are causing little blips here and there for the determined with too much time on their hands.

Water's still too warm to make a fishing bender worthwhile or so it seems.

The more storms, and the less time between storms, the better chance you get one. It rained for four days prior to the 38' Hurricane.

The fish are not in "Fall Run" mode yet! They will have to tie the feed bag on before they decide to leave and Mother Nature has not served them up a smorgasbord yet! Too early for the weather to blow out the fall season!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!
