I was in college, had a roomate from the Bronx. The guy in the adjacent room was from Brooklyn, he was in tears. I was getting back from an 8 am spanish class. I am an avid microsoft flight simulator enthusiast, so I knew that the first plane was no accident. Planes on approach to runway 13 at La Guardia airport fly closest to the towers, but they are far and high enough out over the Hudson River that an accidental collision would have required suicidal negligence on a pilots part, not to mention a complete disregard for the ILS's glide slope indicator. My inclinations were confirmed when I saw the 2nd plane slam into the other tower on live TV. I had this weird feeling in my stomach, unexplainable...

...and no, it was not the fake eggs from dining hall.
