I fish the rocky local coastline, but I rather the sand
I have been fishing 9' rod...batson su 1088 the most
I really have no preference on custom or factory...I make what I have work for now
I rotate between a Stradic and Speros 8000's and Abu 6500 for convench...I do need bigger convench set up....
I fish plugs 90% of the time.....I used to fish eels 99% of the time....
I think for gear you need sharp hooks and good knots ( and always good leaders) and good waders, warm wicking clothes
The kindest moths to me have been June and October
I feel satisfied for the most part with whatever happen...but do get frustrated when large doesnt happen after multiple outings
And sometimes I wonder what the hell I am doing and think of doing something else.....and I very might well do that....
