I had one also - the pig farmer would collect the garbage once a week. I remember one time we threw watermellon rind in it and the maggots bloosomed - the damn things were crawling up the foundation and on the porch. I had a great mutt at the time and they drove him nuts. Yep - you had to clean the bucket often during the summer.
