With the Z frame you can lay your boards vertical or on an angle, like

Norm's. These doors are butted against 1x2 stops and give a good seal.

Just need a sweep on the bottomand they should be pretty air tight.

Larry go to this old house dot com. and look around, they have a link where ya can email them a question...
if you want the herringbone on both sides with the frame not showing, that is doable too, ya make a door sammich... the link for the sliding (rolling) door hardware, will alow you to make your door panel work that way, if that is what you want..
I am sure you can figger it out..
Or.. call Slip.. he can do it

2x3 frame
2" solid foam insulation in between
boarding on the outside
ply on the inside
3- hvy. duty galv.6" hindges on each door or 12" strap hindges
sidestop on the inside..
think reg. door instillation...bob's your uncle.

BOAT fish do count.
