At work today and the place is a ghost town. Just my company's way of having most people burn some vacation time. The funny thing is - we have a lot of European and Asian offices and they seem to have no trouble taking a weekday holiday on a Tuesday or Thursday and sandwiching in another day. Is that was is called a 'banking holiday'?
