First off I am glad you are ok. Things could have been worse. It does suk that there are people out there like that. The pepper spray is a good idea. Another idea is a can of bear repellent. (basically a larger can of the pepper spray that will spray further) Makes me think twice about all the late night forays by myself and even more so about leaving my other friend in the safe.
