SD...thats what I meant...maybe 18 inches off the tail of plug/tin.
I know most people have a smaller teaser before the larger plug. Seems to trigger an instinct in Stripers thats like .... hey these guys are busy why don`t I grab his snack...just wondering if anyone tried the reverse with any success.
I have tried it....with no luck! I believe its called a stinger?
Couple weeks ago I was getting alot of whacks on a pencil but no hook ups....took out a small teaser and tied it 6 inches behind the siwash on the tail....no luck!
heavy tin on the bottom....18 to 24 " back a big fly teaser ... twitch along a sandy bottom....maybe even with a very small black cork to float the fly a bit.
Off a pencil or metal lip swimmer tail....20" flouro to 7" black eel teaser.... slow swimming
heavy tin in deep water.... 8 to 10" skinny black rubber eel/worm slow swimming
