They come and go ,hit or miss on different tides and times , day and night, but the full moon in May is generally the peak time. ,,and they will be here soon 2 weeks I 'd say.
They usually start to decline after the may moon , but I have caught them for fresh bait as late as the first week or so in june. If you want to get get squid be ready the last week in april thru the first 2 or 3 weeks in may.
