but if everything is good in paint land for that zen moment, it's the farr-iiigin' cats nutz.. look at the hood or the rubba bumpers on any car, take a bite, is it tough, does it scratch,can ya bounce rocks off it, not something you do in the basement

Yup, and when your finshed, unless freak paints it, stirs it, and pours the stuff, it will never come close to bein a freakedout finish.
