Envirotex or spray epoxy?

Is the Epoxy Finish for plugs like Rod building epoxy. You know, where you have to mix a 50/50 Resin & hardener?

Yep , but it takes forever to dry , like 8 hours or more .

Rod Building epoxy takes at least 6 hours so it's about the same

The trouble with e-texing plugs is that while a person normaly makes one rod at a time and only need one spinner , making plugs required more spinners unless you only spin 1 plug a day . I now have 7 .

I'll have to build me one of those Ferris wheel style dryers Like Jig man has.
Chumbucket also had a pretty cool drying system that looked like a Train.

epoxy is better used as a sealer than a finish coat as it never fully dries.
very sticky though and makes a good thick base to fill in grain.

What would you use over e-tex as a finish coat on lures ?

i'm thinking two part epoxy primer/sealer.I forgot about devcon epoxy topcoat etc..
havin' a dumb moment. too many fumes
