very nice pics!!
we were up in northern maine...arriving soon to our rented cabin
and came across three of -em....a huge male with humongus antlers
and two smaller females....we instantly stopped and they let us watch
them for 20 minutes.....as we stayed perfectly still...
then they blended into the bushes.... it's a rush for sure
and similarly we had always wanted to see some moose.

Thanks BF those are some really cool shots.Something you'll always remember. Never forget, i was coming home from California on Amtraks Zefpher in Jan and had just come thru the 7 canyons as the train turned into a bowl.

There was a herd of elk feeding over the snow as the sun was going down behind the mountains casting a purple hue in the bowl on the snow. No one could ever imagine or paint that scene. Indelible in my mind.
