suprisingly my basement is dry and sump hasn't even gone off yet. But most of EG roads are flooded here or there. There is a river raging over the street outside my neighborhood. that road (south rd.) is closed just west of me. i think it it will wash out soon if it hasn't allready. Tilinghast is flooded over in two spots and closed. Frenchtown also in several spots. Most of downtown eg also flooded in areas from what the dpw guys closing the streets told me. yet somehow people are still finding their way to my garage sale.

i bent my wookie

Just got home from cleaning up my dad's.Not to bad considering.Poked my head up into the ceiling and couldn't see where the water comes in.This only seems to happen when there is a driving rain from a northerly direction leading me to believe that there's a sidewall leak. Its a good thing I work for a construction company.

On the vineyard until tomorrow night. Hopefully the herring are not running in my basement when I get home.

I think if I got kicked in the nuts it would feel better. Just spent over 15 grand in the basement making a playroom for the kids. Carpet is wet in a small section and the otherside is 2 inches deep. Good thing I decided to renovate the higher side....

I love hydraulic cement.
