Some truth from a cape guy... I ain't caught a fish since May, and I sucked in May.

Oh yeah, ............................
seals suck, and so does gridlock on my Thursday lunch break.

Anybody catching 30 fish at a whack must be a boat guy

It's like in May I went 15 days without a decent fish. I just beat that record. My last good fish was 6/11. Everything will be for sale if this keeps up. Got a VS 250, 3 704Z, 2 5500, 1 6500, 2 Calcutta 400 1 abu 6600cs, 3 710s, a Lamson 4 Fly Reel on a Redington 10 weight And about 700 plugs.
I'm gonna sell everything I swear.

No boat, back in the suds.

Just last night my buddy and his girlfriend asked me to retell them the story about the time I was skiing at MT. Tom playing a trumpet. Supposedly, I told them I caught an edge, did a flip, and landed face first with the trumpet in my mouth. I told them that never happened to me and they must be thinking about someone else. They insisted it was me. Maybe I lie sometime when I'm drinking???? Seriously though, that's why I like to carry a camera. I've actually caught people in fish lies before. Very annoying, and it completely destroys their credibility. This person could actually be a very productive fisherman, and might get into decent fish, but I won't ever believe them without photos after to back them up. Even still in the back of my head I am always thinking the stories surrounding those pics are probably exaggerated. People should be honest. If they are lying about fishing there are probably other flaws to their character as well. Just my two cents.

seals + plovers =

Your are Right on BBJ, especially #4 Saltheart.

Hope I didn't pass the Skunk on to you Fred, was great being out on the sand with you the other night, good jawing with ya, fish woulda been nice too
We had a Rappin' Mikey siting ta boot

I guess I'm pretty close to that #4 stage, even if no fish, it's just nice to get out there, enjoy the night air, look at the stars and just tossing some plugs, fish would be a plus tho... .. unlike tonight, (I was suppossed to go!, had the OK from the boss, till the washing machine puked... ) I've taken the washing machine apart and reassembeld it twice... taking a break, hope the third times the charm
Back to the wash room.....

pm me and I will help U

we all bust our balls at times not getting fish
its not 5 years ago or 15 for that fact.
but people know when i ant catching as i suck and say it to all.
i been fishing my whole life as im sure the starter of this thred and a few others that have seen times come and go.
i think all the tech crap boats gps on land and the net along with a bunch of gear improvements has had an impact.
but there are those that are a cut above and always will be
and even they go through dry spells.
