If she can, take the train, don't drive at all. Remember the train is $198 for a monthly pass and $2 a day to park. I'v been going back and forth every day since '74, There is no really good way, but depending on where she has to go in Boston, the train isn't bad.

i live in mashpee and commute to boston everyday.. i take the Plymouth and Brockton bus.. so much better than the train... i took the train for a while but its bench seat and makes 8 or 9 stops.. the bus is comfortable, always on time, recliner seats, no stops, and same price as train... i used to drive when my chick worked in boston too but she got a job on the cape, so i take the bus now.. i have no complaints.. driving was tough, and impossible by yourself, you need to get in the hov lane if you drive, if not your scrrewed. the train is uncomfortable.. the bus aint bad.. she should look into that, it has pick ups in sagamore, plymouth, and rockland..good luck

Well if you want something a little closer to boston and want to consider a buy - I got a house for sale.
for an easy commute - I would agree with most of the advice here - quincy, weymouth, hingham, hull, scituate, marshfield - south of Marshfield I find the commute to Boston to be a little too long.
Then again - I used to commute from Nashua, NH to Quincy every day for a few months.
