Ripped from GB'd post - The RT 6 bridge is OUT do not take the Rt 18 exit. FOLLOW THIS ALTERNATE RT!! continue on 195 to exit # 18 RT 240 Fairhaven. At the first light bear right. This is Bridge st. Go to the second light then right on to RT 6. Go to the 5th light then left and the VFW will be on your left - across from the Holiday Inn. SEE you there.

You will take RT240 South after going thru New Bedford on 195 over the river. The previous route was to take the exit before 195 goes over the Acushnet but again, the Rt 6 bridge is out this weekend....
