I've tried the minnow trap but when I got to the stream the trap accidently fell into the deep water.
The screen cones of the minnow trap were stretched out by twisting the butt end handle of a shovel until the hole if about 1" to 1.5" in diameter.
This should work according to a previous bait shop owner.
Is there anyone else that has tried this method?
