I have three children ages 30, 29, and 27. They were never abused, but they were always disciplined. Today they are productive adults. My wife and I (both 55 years old) are still parenting (and still trying to discipline our children!) after 33 years of marriage.
NOTE TO EBEN: Lapinski is correct. Many young parents do not know how to properly discipline their offspring. Hopefully you and your wife are not among that crowd.
