does size matter?
When Replacing treble hooks this winter. What sizes work the best. Is there a rule of thumb depending on how big the plug or lure happens to be. I want to order some hooks, just want to make sure I get the right ones.

thats why they call it fishing not catching

Yeah, it makes a difference to an extent. On some plugs more than others. Swimmers tend to be effected more than other plugs. For instance, bombers take a 1/0 treble but they are skimpy, if you throw 3 VMCs on there in 1/0 the action is hampered, I don't know about everyone else but I put 2 on one in front and one in back. The action is still different, but it's better than 3. Anyone else have input.... BM?

I have occasionally upped the front hook size and left the back the same (replaced both with VMC's) they dig a bit more but still swim OK
