anyone tried the pull out the hook techique instead of the push it thru thing. there is a thread about it in the how too section, its a bit easier than pushing it thru. when i got stuck by a gamakatsu octopus it was sticking thru the latch on my huge tackle box that never leaves the truck, it was sticking out thru the latch so when i got hooked i wasnt just stuck to the hook i was trapped in the latch as well. if anyone bout two months was fishing pips rip area and heard someone yelling IM STUCK at the tip of their lungs it was me. I was on the other side of the ditch. after i got the hook out, off to the ER for my tetnus booster.
