Yep lower bay

blackeye and I had a very fruitful night last night

only one fish under 28" and most were whoppas-

tattoo bob, when the herring run ends, your fishing pattern should change too.. most bass will leave the mouths of herring runs for deeper, cooler water in the summer months. At night is when they will venture in close to shore to forrage for scup, blackfish and crabs and the ocasional herring pod thats headed out to sea.
Look on a chart for deep ledges that are within casting range that also have fast moving water, and that are close to white water. If you find out where these places are, you'll have bass in your freezer.
