Generally right behind the Commerical guys by ballards (who seem to leave their powerful cockpit lights on all night)
If paynes is weak, check out old harbor. Last year both places produced but at old harbor they seemed to be there nearly all the time. We even saw locals fishing them at sunset. Perhaps I was a little early to be seeking the almighty tube.
You bring a light? I would not know where to plug it in. I have been just using the lights from the dock and fishing boats and these white/pink/and glowinthedark squid jigs. I was surprised to see how aggressive they are! Also they can bite! They have like a beak of sorts. The big ones can actually take out the drag of a light setup!
How have you been fishing them?
