Flutter spoon set up

Hi just been looking to re stock my Flutter Spoon. supply. Amazon is the best place to Buy them.

I am curious how other people set them up or how they fish them...

My Basic set up no smaller than 8in Spoon stinger hook on top (there are pros and cons to these . and the way the bass get hooked sometimes they end foul hooked ) and Treble on a swivel on the Bottom (I find that bottom swivel helps boat side when boating a Bass . but I am looking to go with a thinner Treble Hook .. the stock hook for me seem to Be to thick like 5x and not always the Best hook sets (any ideas on a brand to use. ). would be great.

Fishing presentation

I like fishing mine right on the Bottom then a crank or 2 so when i lift the spoon up and drop it down i can feel the bottom momentarily straight up and down as possible. It just a pull up and keeping contact while dropping the tip .. (i dont snap it up or jig it ). many hits come on the drop

I am in deeper water. and fish are marking mind water.. I still start at the bottom then pull the spoon up and down until 1\2 way to the boat and drop again the spoon

I have caught bass in 60ft and 12ft. using these they are no replacement for live pogies But when the pogies are scattered they are killer ..

As for color. Gold for me have been the least productive then White. then Chrome and my go to color I always start with is Chartreuse ..

just like most seasons sometimes you need to Try all colors to find what works. in your location
