Independence day for the rich, they can finally go get that next vacation home and the latest super yacht they have had their eye on. While some on this day might be racing to see how many hot dogs they can eat, the rich are racing to see who can be the richest mother f*cker on the planet.

Interesting Facts concerning Speaker Johnson’s state. It ranks 50 out of 50 state. Medicaid covers from 31% to 47% of
people in LA’s congressional district

A majority (69%) of Medicaid adults are
working in Louisiana
Medicaid covers from 31% to 47% of
people in LA’s congressional districts
Not Working
31%
Working
Part-Time

Federal spending accounts for 79% of their Medicaid spending

Which is 13 billion. They spend 16 billion a year. This BBB is only going to land on MAGA HEADS. Also. The new work provision only applies to states that expanded Medicaid

So now red state meat packers and farms and dairy farmers. Illegals won’t be hunted BY ICE?

Trump said that he would allow the farmers who hire migrants to take charge and allow the migrants working in the agricultural industry to remain in the country. The plan would not create a path to citizenship as some immigration advocates have called for, but would protect them from the possibility of being detained by ICE agents during workplace raids, Trump said.

“If a farmer has been with one of these people that worked so hard – they bend over all day, we don’t have too many people that can do that, but they work very hard, and they know him very well, and some of the farmers are literally, you know, they cry when they see this happen,” Trump said. “If a farmer is willing to vouch for these people, in some way … I think we’re going to have to just say that’s going to be good, right?”

This is the real reason Farming added $223 million to the gross domestic product in 2023

So again these raids in sanctuary cities was just all. propaganda.

If those farms were in blue states do you really think that statement would have even been made. As for Mike Johnson, he like so many others whose states will be seriously impacted by the medicaid changes, are more concerned about keeping the rath of Trump off their backs; cowards all of them. Their constituents hopefully are paying attention. So many of those crap find print fooled you moments waiting for them to discover the hard way.

It’s really simple and nothing new.
Trump has proposed releasing some ICE prisoners to labor on farms where the employers will “own them” and be responsible for them.

What Trump’s proposing is analogous to the "Black Codes" in the post-bellum South, where Black men were required to enter contracts of employment under white employers.

Having no such employment was grounds for arrest and hard labor. Leaving such employment was grounds for arrest and hard labor.

Slavery in all but name.

They will push the Cruelty Agenda as hard and as fast as possible. While most Americans are stunned, they will use our hesitancy to push further into what should be intolerable. Going forward anyone seeking asylum will be sent to camps to work the fields for little to no pay. Slavery is profitable.

Cruelty towards anyone the wrong color or party is their agenda. You don’t build a detention center in a wetland prone to flooding, unless you would enjoy watching them suffer and possibly die. With the ICE funded more than any other law enforcement agency in this country, Trump’s Gestapo made up of masked thugs probably hand picked for their bent towards violence and hatred for immigrants, there will be blood in streets across america soon.

My sons in law’s OTA family property wasn’t taken (farm) during that period due to the kindness of their neighbors .who bought the land from them and gave it back to them when they got out of the internment camps

Such kind treatment and respect. Towards your neighbor nowadays is considered woke and a bad thing .. how far we’ve fallen

What was just passed is truly staggering.

49 billion for detention facilities alone which is mostly going to private contractors. You can’t build ‘em unless you’re going to fill ‘em so expect to see the harassment, racial profiling, constitutional lapses, abject cruelty and completely insane business disruption explode in the next year.

Like most everything Trump does this will accomplish little but hurt the economy, spend more money and do great harm to our national psyche.

What’s I find even scarier is he will have an army of unqualified and unethical and unprofessional Americans signing up in Mass to save America. Or their twisted vision on a new America …. So much for waste fraud and abuse. This administration is all about slogans

I see Too Weak Tacoman is at it again with tariffs.
His 90 deals in 90 days is baloney and he’s moving the goalposts.
Gas prices are up along with interest rates and just wait till you see what is coming in groceries.
He’s busy deporting roofers and landscapers but seems to be unable to find the hordes of evil illegal immigrant criminals that he claimed existed.
Seems to be a pattern of incompetence.

Trump accuses Brazil of 'witch hunt' against Bolsonaro. Once again meddling in another countries business ! He did the same thing to Israel last week about Netanyahu.

Why are all his friends authoritarian? Or wanna be authoritarian. Yet a certain segment of our Nations population can’t see this. Or are willingly onboard ?

Netanyahu is a war criminal masquerading in holy clothing and he just nominated Trump for an honor he deserves as much as I do. One f*ck head nominating another f*ck head.

Isnt it funny that “woke” is really just the distilled down version of christian beliefs- being decent to others, fairness, doing whats right, etc….
And yet the term is thrown around as a negative connotation.

He has pretty much sucked the kindness, fairness, empathy and compassion out of his maga base. Hopefully, the same doesn't happen to the rest of the country

If Arpineh Masihi could vote, she would have cast her ballot for Donald Trump. She's a devout supporter of the US president – even now that she's locked up as an illegal immigrant.

"He's doing the right thing because lots of these people don't deserve to be here,"

clearly she thinks she does.. and they made sure to take pictures all decked out in Trump hats. prior to the election .. now they are hoping Trump sees it and helps

Trump administration targets Comey and Brennan with new investigation

I think I’ve figured out this administration…. It’s all Bread and circuses

a diet of entertainment or political policies on which MAGA are fed to keep them happy or enraged..

And what even sadder. They MAGA are more upset about the Epstein files then what the BBB a will do to them. And America over all.

Secretary af agriculture said no changes in immigration policy relative to immigrants AND that medicaid recipients could work the fields. The stupidity running through this administration is staggering.

Homan: "People need to understand ICE officers and Border Patrol don't need probable cause to walk up to somebody, briefly detain them, and question them ... based on their physical appearance."
I remember when conservatives were concerned about Social Security cards being used as National Identity cards.
We’re at the "Ihre Ausweise, bitte." phase and have the largest masked secret police force in the world with no due process required.

Businesses thus far have sheltered American consumers from tariffs by eating some of the cost themselves and relying on stockpiled goods. As a result, inflation has remained subdued and economic growth strong enough through the first half of the year. But firms can keep only so much stock in warehouses. Analysts at BNP Paribas, a banking group, estimate that inventories will “clear” by the end of the summer, and prices will rise in turn. Right now, American consumers are facing an 18 percent effective tariff rate, the highest since 1934, the Yale Budget Lab estimates. Households will pay an average of $2,400 more for goods this calendar year, thanks to Trump’s policies.

Two days after catastrophic floods roared through Central Texas, the Federal Emergency Management Agency did not answer nearly two-thirds of calls to its disaster assistance line, according to documents reviewed by The New York Times.

The lack of responsiveness happened because the agency had fired hundreds of contractors at call centers, according to a person briefed on the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity in order to discuss internal matters.

Why would you need due process?
A disabled U.S. veteran and citizen was violently detained during a federal immigration raid in Camarillo.

George Retes, 25, works security at the farm where the raid took place. His family says he was not protesting—just trying to leave—when ICE broke his window, pepper-sprayed him & took him.
Want to bet he ends up charged with felonies?
You think he’s the only one?

Good article in the Atlantic about how morale at ICE is super low, questioning the mission is rampant and if they really want to continue.

How many died for America to never become this?

“Many workers, including U.S. citizens, were held by federal authorities at the farm for 8 hours or more,” the United Farm Workers union said in a statement. “U.S. citizen workers report only being released after they were forced to delete photos and videos of the raid from their phones.”

Nearly 500 metric tons of emergency food—enough to feed about 1.5 million children for a week is about to be incinerated by this stupid administration. Then there are fields and fields of crops rotting because they can’t get the immigrants needed to harvest them. Winning is hard.

Last term the Ag tariffs were so bad Trump had to give US farmers a 26B bailout because crops were rotting in silos.

Seriously, these people bring a new meaning to the word stupid.
