I can’t get pass 45lbs not for a lack of trying
I did one night hook into something in Plymouth off the beach that just steadily pulled line off my Vs 275 . And lamiglass 10ft rod. With no sense of panic no head shaking. Till it rubbed off on the bottom all with little effort. Still convinced it was a GW I hooked as it swam by.
The next few trips to that spot I didn’t wade past my knees
