bite slowed down a bit in the river this week, I only fished 2 nights, the size was good, several in the 30 lb range.. a lot of "Rats" keyed in on sand eels.. water temp still frigid , 56 in spots at high tide.. fish in cold stuff wont feed, find the 65-68 degree water and it's game on.

Yup and that’s why I’m getting no love off my beach, been blowing SW for a week, all the warmer water is offshore and it’s replaced with cold stuff you need waders to fish in. Can’t wait for this pattern to break. |
