It’s not as hard as you think
Nothing will bother Trumplicans till they can’t constrain the next Guy when he does something and says too bad to Congress.
It’s called Regime cleavage and it happened here before and resulted in the civil war.
Hollow democracies where the executive holds too much power are one mark of that, when the Democrats regain power you can be sure that they will be incentivized to keep it using whatever they can to save us from the evil Trumplicans and so on.
But keep thinking the other guy is evil and has bad intentions, notice though it’s never anyone you know well cause they’re not that bad, you just have some differences with them.
