It's funny you dismiss the potential impact of a well funded disinformation campaign aided and abetted by the Republican candidate as having swung the election yet a single awkward statement by Romney was the death knell to his campaign.

I'd further note that both of Obama's wins were significantly bigger than Trump or either of Bush's two terms.
