I've used them with good results. If you are looking at these I would also suggest checking out the Hunter carbide cutters. I've used those and easy wood tools. The Hunter carbide cutter has a beveled cutting edge and gives a nice smooth cut. The EWT and others are super sharp but are flat and you are still scraping to some degree. I've found the Hunter beveled cutters do a great job of shaving the work piece. There are tons of videos of both on Youtube.
