Some people have no respect when around children....although nowadays it seems like a common thing.....I'm one of those guys who doesn't want people cursing around my child. I'm sure he has, but he's not going to see me condone it by bringing him into a situation where it's openly used and abused.
Call me old fashioned, but it is what it is.
Other than that.....your son will be a paying customer. He has the same right to tangle as some other inexperienced adult going out for the first time. I wouldn't worry about offending anyone else....just be a responsible parent.

That's a good point. My kids have never, nor will they ever, hear me use the f-bomb for example. But when I fish with my 9 year-old, if I lose a big fish for example, I might say "aw, sh*t". He knows that he may hear more colorful language on the boat, and he also knows that his mother doesn't need to know anything about this.
I also don't expect any paying customers to act differently. If someone lost a good fish and dropped the f-bomb right next to him, I wouldn't say anything. In any event, my wife was captain of her college rugby team, and knows a lot more swear words than I ever will, and I suspect she's not as careful around them during the day, as I am when I'm home.
