Bass were intercepting squid as they tried to get out into harbor this morning. Pretty fricken neat to see squid fly and pop straight outta the water 3 feet high. Had a large bass inhale my jumping minnow along with the clump of seaweed it was stuck to. Screaming drag but she went right under the bridge and broke me off on a barnacles-laden piling. Definitely some bigger fish around now.

I thought his skills only worked up on Cranes...lol. JK, would love to catch half the fish you guys do. With work this year, I've only been out a handful of times, compared to 5x a week last season. Good luck to all you N.Shore guys! And spin, I still want to hook up with you one of these morns up by the bridge!
