Hey Salty,
I'm over in Douglas and it's been the year of the snake! Have killed atleast 6 and seen that many more, mostly gardener snakes, thou one had a gray back and a orange underside and one that got away did have some type of diamond looking pattern, but have not seen that one again. Always careful around the gardens and stone walls.
