Thanks Christian, I first spray the plug with flat white primer in a spray can.
I'm using Createx paints with my airbrush. The needlefish was shot all over with pearl white then pearl purple on the back and fogged in around the eyes.I put the eyes in after painting.
The Createx paints are water based so thats what I thin them with. ( thats what createx recommends ) You want your paint to be as thick as milk.
Then after the paint dries I sometimes use Devcon 30 minute epoxy. You can get it in dept. stores and hardware stores.
You need to rotate the plug after coating with the epoxy to avoid drips.
