Here is my Friday, I am 90 miles from home when my 2004 Dodge goes to full throttle on 128 in Beverly.
I call Chrysler road side assistance they send out a ramp truck, to bring it to Herb Chambers Dodge the service manager asks if I bought the truck from them,I say no I live on Cape Cod.
Chambers would not even look at it until the middle of next week, I tell them I am 90 miles from home, they say tuff luck.
I then call AAA, 87 mile tow to Hillers in Marion.
Once I get to Hillers the service manager sends a tech out looks it over finds broken throttle cable.
Hiller would have gotten me back on the road in no time but did not have the part, but they did give me a loner car to use until the part comes in.
Just goes to show you Chambers big dealer dont care about customers.
Hiller small family, dealer goes the extra mile to take care of their customers, it took a little of the sting out of the day.
