Try fishing for stripers at night through first light. I would find spots where the current picks up. Unweighted sluggos work, but I tend to throw crystal minnow magnums, bombers and mambos. There is no water coming over the dam, so I would stick to fishing the Holyoke side for shad once it gets light (the turbines under the fish lift will create current to work your darts). Remember the derby is finishing up this weekend, so be ready for lots of company. Hope this helped. PM me if you want more info.
