A great answer. I'm in the same boat. But here in New England, we pay dearly to be near our families. I live 2 miles from my parents. It's so awesome that my kids get to have dinner with their grandparents 3 or 4 nights a week. But boy I'd love to convince my parents and brothers to move to the southeast with me, maybe NC or SC or TN. The decrease in cost-of-living is truly life-altering. And it's only going to get more drastic.
