What Is Fishing?

Canalratt1, it's funny you should mention Perkins Cove. I avoid the place as much as possible due to the crowds and traffic, but my wife was there a few weeks ago and told me that she saw someone catching fish off the pier. I figured they were flounders, but remember her saying they looked like stripers. I kind of just dismissed the idea. Why 50LB test though? My smallest rod is 9' medium action with 17LB test.
