Have the get togethers and people will go. Folks can't get together if there isn't anything planned formally. If the chief is too busy lets get some folks who like to do this sort of planning to set up the legs, run the tourney etc. AND we can discuss this over some wings and hooters

yeah I agree...maybe "clean up" and/or eliminate some of the stagnant areas like the hunting section. Good Idea at first but not much traffic....things like that. Maybe bring back the legs or at least an gathering here & there. Maybe somewhere that has a pavillion for rent, park with camping, etc.
I for one kind of miss crashing out in Weekapaug B& T parking lot in the fall with the wind cranking & rockin the truck. I swear it was always epic wind everytime I went
